F.A.Q.
If this doesn’t answer your questions, please use our contact form to reach out.
Do I need to provide anything for my massage?
Nope, I bring everything needed for your session—including the massage table, clean linens, lotion, and music (you choose the tunes). All you need is a clear space, about 6×10 feet, and a comfy, quiet spot. If you have a favorite blanket or playlist, feel free to use it!
How far do you travel?
I offer in-home massage throughout central Austin and nearby areas. Travel is included for locations within 10 miles of downtown Austin. For appointments outside that range, a small travel fee may apply—typically $20–$40, depending on the distance. Not sure if you’re in the zone? Just ask! I’ll always confirm any travel fees when you book.
How much space is required for the massage therapist?
A clear area of about 6 feet by 10 feet is ideal to comfortably set up the massage table and allow room to move around it.
Do I need to tip the massage therapist?
Tipping is never required but always appreciated! If you’d like to leave a tip, you’re welcome to do so in cash or through Square after your session.
What is the cancellation policy?
A credit/debit card is required to book. If you cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice, you will be charged 50% of the service. If a client no call/no show’s they will be charged the full amount.
When will I be charged?
Your credit card information is required to book an appointment, but the payment will not be processed until after the massage is completed.
Do you provide massage for minors?
Yes! I’m happy to work with younger clients. Anyone under 18 will need a parent or guardian to sign a consent form before the session. If your child is under 16, a parent or guardian will need to stay in the room during the massage. For teens 16–17, you’re welcome to stay in the room or nearby—whatever feels best for you and your teen. I always make sure sessions are professional, respectful, and comfortable for everyone.
Do you offer pre-natal massage?
Tonic does not currently offer prenatal massage. However, we’d be happy to connect you with trusted therapists in the area who specialize in caring for pregnant bodies.
